The Korean Society of Agricultural Engineers(KSAE) is the leading society in the field of agricultural engineering in Korea, celebrating its 64th anniversary in 2020. The Korean Society of Agricultural Engineers is an academic community that contributes to the development of agriculture in the country by preparing the future foundation of Korea's agriculture and rural villages by integrating engineering technologies necessary.
KSAE will take the lead in exploring basic research and technology development to develop the agricultural infra-structures and rural water resources, manage water quality, and maintain agricultural facilities. KSAE also studies related to rural development, agricultural facilities, disaster prevention and climate change. It is an academic community that strives for agricultural productivity and agricultural development by incorporating advanced engineering technologies.
Our society currently has approximately 2,800 members from academia, research and industrial bodies, and we have established various professional committees to support academic exchanges and skills development among members. In addition, we publish the “Rural Land and Resources” magazine four times in a year and KCI Listed Journal 6 times per year to share the results of our research. In addition, we hold an annual meeting for academic exchange among members through academic conferences every fall. We look forward to your participation.
Our society is making efforts to apply cutting-edge technologies to the field of agricultural engineering and will not only enable the new academic fields to be actively applied, but also to become a society for future generations.
